The Weeknd‘s once notoriously mysterious Abel Tesfaye is center stage in the new video for “Live For.” The Kiss Land cut couldn’t have more fitting visuals as Tesfaye and Drake are draped in the darkness of a subway tunnel and abandoned warehouse, with strobe lights, an occasional spotlight, and subway overheads providing what cold lighting there is.
Kiss Land was released on Tuesday by Universal Republic. As you’ve no doubt heard several times over, Drake has a highly anticipated album of his own coming. Nothing Was the Same and its talked-to-death album artwork is slated for release on September 24.
